In 1976, I served as the Baltimore City campaign coordinator for Jimmy Carter’s presidential campaign. In this role, I organized and directed campaign activities throughout the city, building a coalition of volunteers, community leaders, and local organizations to support Carter’s candidacy. My efforts focused on voter engagement, outreach, and mobilization in key neighborhoods, helping to secure strong support for the Democratic ticket in one of Maryland’s most important urban centers.
